Applications are invited for the following posts in the Faculty of ‘Integrated Rural & Tribal Development and Management (IRTDM)’ located at Morabadi, Ranchi, (Jharkhand) of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute (Deemed-to-be-University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956).

1 Assistant Professor

(Plant Pathology)

 1.                   B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Horticulture with minimum 65% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized university/institute.

2.                   M.Sc. (Ag.) in Plant Pathology with minimum 60% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system adopted by the recognized university/institute.

3.                   Ph.D. in Plant Pathology from a recognized university/institute.

 Qualified in NET/SET.

Teaching/research experience in the relevant field

 

 Contractual for one year @ Rs.50000/- per month (consolidated). Extendable further, subject to annual review and evaluation. Likelihood of becoming permanent will be considered at the appropriate time.
2 Assistant Professor

(Soil Science)

 1.                   B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Horticulture with minimum 65% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized university/institute

2.                   M.Sc. (Ag.) in Soil Science with minimum 60% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system adopted by the recognized university/institute

3.                   Ph.D. in Soil Science from a recognized university/institute.

 Qualified in NET/SET.

Teaching/research experience in the relevant field

 

 

 Contractual for one year @ Rs.50000/- per month (consolidated). Extendable further, subject to annual review and evaluation. Likelihood of becoming permanent will be considered at the appropriate time.
3 Assistant Professor

(Agricultural Statistics)

 1. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Horticulture with 65% marks or B.Sc. Hons in Statistics / Mathematics with specialization in Statistics with minimum 55% marks in percentage system or its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized university/institute,

2. M.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Statistics or M.Sc. Statistics or M.Sc. Mathematics with specialization in Statistics with minimum 55% marks in percentage system or its equivalent grade in point scale system adopted by the recognized university/institute,

3. Ph.D. in Agricultural Statistics or Ph.D. in Statistics from a recognized university / institute

 Qualified in NET/SET.

Teaching/research experience in the relevant field

 

 Contractual for one year @ Rs.50000/- per month (consolidated). Extendable further, subject to annual review and evaluation. Likelihood of becoming permanent will be considered at the appropriate time.
4 Assistant Professor

(Biotechnology)

 1. B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture / Horticulture with 65% or B.Sc. (Hons) in any of the Biological Sciences with minimum 55% marks in percentage system or its equivalent grade in point scale system by a recognized university/institute,

2. M.Sc. in Genetics / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology with minimum 55% marks in percentage system OR its equivalent grade in point scale system adopted by the recognized university/institute, OR

3. Ph.D. in Genetics / Molecular Biology / Biotechnology from a recognized university / institute.

 Qualified in NET/SET.

Teaching/research experience in the relevant field

 

 

 

 Contractual for one year @ Rs.50000/- per month (consolidated). Extendable further, subject to annual review and evaluation. Likelihood of becoming permanent will be considered at the appropriate time.

  1. Age limit and other conditions as per UGC norms.
  2. In-service candidates should apply through proper channel. No objection certificate has to be produced at the time of interview.
