Admission to 2 Year MSc in Agriculture Rural and Tribal Development

Admission for academic year 2025-26

Applications are invited from candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria for admission to 2 Year MSc in Agriculture, Rural and Tribal Development for the academic-session 2025-26.

Eligibility to Apply

  • BSc. Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/ Agriculture and Rural Development/ B.Voc. in Sustainable Agriculture (candidates having Science background in 10+2) from a recognized Institution with at least 50% marks aggregate.
  • Relaxation of marks for SC/ST students will be as per Govt. of Jharkhand rules.

Out of total seats, 50% seats will be reserved for the students domiciled in Jharkhand and they will be admitted following the reservation policy of Govt. of Jharkhand. The remaining 50% of the seats will be filled following the reservation policy of Govt. of India.

Note: Medium of instruction is English only.

B. For CUET qualified candidates:

    • New applicants have to first register on the Online Admission Portal (https://isr.rkmvu.ac.in/admission) , then login and fill up the online application form.
    • While filling up the online application-form attach the scanned copies of your passport size photo, mark-sheets and other applicable certificates/documents.
    • Candidates applying with CUET score should qualify CUET PG exam (paper code SCQP01, HUQP21, HUQP22) and upload score card at the time of application.
    • After successfully submitting the application form, pay the application fee (INR 300.00) online from the same Portal. Link can be found under ‘Options’ next to the program name on the Dashboard.
    • Once Application-form is successfully submitted and application-fee is paid, Receipt (also Application-summary) will be available for download from the same Portal from the ‘Dashboard‘.
    • Important Dates:
      • Last date of application: 08 June 2025
      • Counselling for the CUET candidates: will be announced later
      • Classes begin: will be announced later

Admission and Course Fee

Admission process shall begin immediately after the announcement of results of the interview. The selected candidates willing to take admission may get admitted by paying the requisite fees and submitting the requisite documents.
